Slow Proxy Speed

The speed of your proxy may be affected by several factors. You can try the following steps to improve performance:

1. User Network Environment

Your local network has a direct impact on proxy speed. To improve performance:

  • Use a stable connection (preferably wired).

  • Close bandwidth-heavy applications or downloads.

  • Ensure your local server or device is performing optimally.

2. Geographic Distance

The farther the proxy server is from your location, the slower the speed may be. Choosing a server closer to your location can significantly improve data transmission efficiency.

3. Proxy Settings

Proxy server configuration can also affect speed. Consider adjusting:

  • Connection concurrency

  • Cache size

  • Protocol (HTTP/HTTPS, SOCKS5, etc.)

Proper configuration can help optimize performance.

4. Target Website Status

Even if your proxy is properly configured, the speed may drop if the target website is experiencing high traffic, server overload, or network congestion. You can test other websites to confirm if the issue is site-specific.

5. Testing & Support

If the above steps do not improve speed, please contact our support team at support@kindproxy.com and provide the following information:

  • Username

  • Package used

  • Proxy protocol and port

  • Target website URL

  • Speed test results (e.g., from fast.com)

Once we receive your information, our customer service team will assist you in resolving the issue promptly.
